Iran Press/Iran news: The top commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Major General Hossein Salami made the remarks on Sunday at the ninth Malek Ashtar festival held in Tehran, saying, “The enemy of the Islamic Revolution has been countering it since the beginning, trying to escalate the tensions and doing its best to make its plots practical and operational but the force would not let it happen.”
Salami added that the enemy teaches us nothing and we shouldn't take refuge in it.
He further stressed negotiations and holding talks with the enemy means defeat, while resistance will result in victory.
The ninth Malek Ashtar Festival was held on Sunday 18th August 2019 to commend the most successful armed forces commanders and officials by the presence of Major General Hossein Salami, and the representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to the IRGC, Abdollah Haji Sadeghi.
Speaking in this festival, Haji Sadeghi pointed out that we will stand with the Leader till the end.
He further described the downfall of the US drone and countering its plots as IRGC’s honors.
