Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned the West silence on Israel's nuke threat on Gaza and called on the international community to address the Israeli atomic threat.

Iran PressIran news:  The Spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry told reporters on Monday in his weekly press conference that the Israeli nuclear threat would weaken the non-proliferation treaty and the ban on the use of weapons of mass destruction.

Nasser Kanaani criticized the pro-Israeli countries for their silence to the threat and said: "It is regrettable that they have for years been fighting imaginary and false threats, but they do not see the real and objective threat, have no reaction."

Yet, Kanaani said that the threat showed the peak of the Israeli regime's failure against the Resistance front, on the one hand, and demonstrated that the Israeli regime fully disregarded international law, on the other hand.

He pointed out that the threat notices the fact at the international level that the Israeli regime itself is an objective threat to the world's peace and security.

The Iranian FM spokesman pointed to the US and some certain European countries which showed a green light to the Israeli regime for committing crimes in Gaza and held them accountable for the regime's crimes.

He noted that the Islamic Republic will seriously pursue the case to put it on the agenda of the UN and its Security Council.
