Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in a meeting with Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Yemen Hans Grundberg in Tehran on Saturday, slammed military attacks of the US against Iraq and Syria.
Referring to the US's failed approach to solving problems by resorting to force and militarism, Amir-Abdollahian condemned last night's US aggression against targets in Syria and Iraq.
Iranian foreign minister, also, emphasized in the meeting that the militaristic approach of the US government, especially the military attacks of the US and UK against Yemen and the re-listing of the Yemeni Ansarallah movement in the US terrorist list made the situation even more complicated and reaching a political solution difficult.
Amir-Abdollahian, referring to Iran's continued support for establishing peace and security in Yemen, stressed that efforts to establish stability and security throughout the region will benefit all countries in the region.
Appreciating Iran's stance and commitment to stability and security in the region, especially Yemen, he reported on the UN actions regarding establishing peace and stability in Yemen to reduce the tensions within this country, stressing the necessity of resolving the root causes of regional crises by using intra-regional initiatives. 219
