During a meeting with the Cuban President, the Iranian Vice President stressed the need to boost bilateral relations to counter Washington's sanctions.

Iran PressAmerica: On behalf of the President of Iran, Mohsen Rezaei, who attended the inauguration ceremony of the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, met with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel and called for the strengthening of mutual relations and cooperation.

The two sides also stressed the development and deepening of economic, trade ties, and cooperation in all fields, including health and the pharmaceutical industry.

Mohsen Rezaei attended the inauguration ceremony of President Daniel Ortega on Monday evening in Revolution Square in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua.
