Tehran (IP): Foreign ministry spokesman reacted to the Moroccan government's statement, calling it 'baseless'.

Iran PressIran News: Reacting to the Moroccan foreign minister's remarks in an online conversation with members of the Zionist lobby "AIPAC",  Iran Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said: "The Moroccan government has repeated its baseless accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran, in support of the Zionist regime, while it is unable to solve its regional issues."

Assessing the baseless accusations of the Moroccan government against the Islamic Republic of Iran to help the US and Zionist regime in the region and against the loyalists of the Palestinian cause, Khatibzadeh added: "It is unfortunate that the Moroccan government is currently chairing Quds committee."

While the Islamic world needs unity more than ever, they help the goals of the enemies of the Islamic Ummah and deviate the attention to the main issue of the Islamic world, which is confronting the encroachment on the Holy Quds and defending the rights of the Palestinian nation, the Iranian official highlighted.
