IP- "Iran has very good capacities in the energy sector," said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Iran's Electricity Industry Syndicate (IEIS) at the opening ceremony of the second conference on renewable energy development in the country's industries.

Iran PressIran news: Payam Bagheri enlisted the appropriate level of solar radiation and wind corridors as the existing capacities of renewable energies in Iran. 

He symbolized energy as the driving force of the country's economic development and added that renewable energies are the locomotive of development that can resolve the imbalance in the electricity sector of the country.

A while ago, Ali Akbar Mehrabian, Iranian Minister of Energy, said that the production of renewable energy in Iran exceeded 1,000 megawatts.
