Iran Press/ Asia: According to Iran press, following the escalation of COVID-19 in China and the hospitalization of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir- Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, contacted Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh, Iran's Ambassador to China, inquired about his health and the health status of 6 employees of the Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy who are infected with Corona.
In this call, Amir- Abdollahian appreciated the assistance of the Chinese host in this regard.
During the telephone conversation, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Beijing expressed his appreciation for the call of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. He assured that in light of the comprehensive effort to contain COVID-19, The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran performs the assigned duties with all its capacity to secure the interests of Islamic Iran.
