The Acting President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Mokhber held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, exchanging Eid al-Adha greetings.

Iran PressIran news: In a phone conversation with Iran's Acting President Mohamad Mokhber, the Pakistani Prime Minister conveyed his warm greetings for a happy and joyous Eid al-Adha to the Government and the brotherly people of Iran, particularly to the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The two sides also discussed bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest including trade, investment, defense, and tourism.

While lauding the historic visit of late Iranian President martyred Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi to Pakistan in April this year, the Pakistani Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to work with total resolve to achieve all the mutually agreed upon objectives of the visit to deepen bilateral relations between Tehran and Islamabad further.

Shehbaz Sharif also expressed sincere wishes to the Iranian government for successfully holding the upcoming Presidential elections in Iran on June 28.
