Tehran (IP) - The Foreign Ministers of Iran and Turkey, in a phone conversation on Thursday, discussed bilateral issues and the Israeli strike on the building of Iran's consulate in Damascus.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Hakan Fidan, Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey, during a phone call, discussed and exchanged views on the development and expansion of relations between Tehran and Ankara, as well as the latest regional developments, especially the situation in Palestine.

In this telephone conversation, the foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey congratulated the government and people of the two countries on the arrival of Eid al-Fitr.

 

The two sides discussed the latest developments in Palestine and the ongoing Israeli war in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The consequences of the Zionist regime's missile attack on the consular section of the Islamic Republic of Iran's embassy in Damascus was another topic discussed by Amir-Abdollahian and Fidan.

The Israeli regime attacked Iran's consulate in the Syrian capital of Damascus on April 1st. The Israeli aggression led to the destruction of the entire building and the martyrdom and injury of the whole people inside it.
