Tehran (IP) – The Head of Iran's Center for Science and Technology International Interactions and Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Tehran stressed the development of scientific and knowledge-based activities as a priority of cooperation between the two countries.

Iran PressIran News: Amir-Hossein Mirabadi and the Saudi Envoy Abdullah bin Saud al-Enzi noted that the priorities for the two countries' cooperation should be determined and joint programs should be defined in accordance with the priorities in the fields of technology development and knowledge-based economic projects.

Exchanging high-ranking delegations in the field of science and technology, defining relations beyond political interactions, attending technological events, and not sufficing to just MoUs in advancing programs were among other issues discussed between the two officials. 

The two sides also talked about the meeting of Iranian and Saudi young experts in the form of a program in Iran and a meeting in Saudi Arabia to increase the areas of cooperation between the two countries. 

Iran and Saudi Arabia reconciled after 7 years on March 10, 2023, after several days of negotiations between the officials of the two countries' national security institutions in Beijing.
