Iran Press/Asia: According to the Iran Press news agency from Islamabad, after last night's visit of Iran's Foreign Minister to Islamabad and meeting and discussion with the country's officials, a joint press conference was held today between Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said: "In today's meeting, we had a very good discussion of bilateral relations in various security, economic, and energy sectors. We also discussed important security developments in the region and the world, focusing on the challenges of the Middle East."
He added: Iran and Pakistan, while condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime, especially the massacre of innocent civilians, which is a clear violation of all international laws and human rights, jointly demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, a reduction in tensions, and continuous dialogue.
Referring to the condemnation of the Zionist regime's recent military attack on Iran by the Islamabad government, Ishaq Dar said: Israel's illegal actions and war crimes are the most important cause of tensions in the Middle East, therefore the international community must take immediate measures to stop this approach.
The Foreign Minister of Pakistan also mentioned the bilateral consultations in various fields of trade, security, economy, and energy cooperation between the two neighboring countries and said: Iran and Pakistan are committed to the development of bilateral relations in all sectors.
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in this press conference: "During the meeting with Pakistan's Foreign Minister, we discussed and exchanged views on the latest situation in the region and ways to deal with the threats of the Zionist regime and reduce tensions in the region."
Araghchi added: Efforts are underway by Islamic countries to deal with this crisis and stop the crimes of the Zionist regime. Considering the approach of winter, which will create difficult conditions for the homeless in Gaza, we are trying to resolve this issue during the upcoming meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to find a solution to stop these crimes and reduce the suffering of the people of Gaza and Lebanon.
Appreciating the decisive positions of the government and people of Pakistan in support of Gaza and Lebanon, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran added: We deeply appreciate the strong and admirable position of the government and people of Pakistan in condemning the aggression of the Zionist regime, especially the clear and firm position of the Prime Minister of this country.
Stating that the Pakistani authorities, the government, and the people of this country have had significant support for the people of Gaza and the Palestinian cause in the past year, Araghchi emphasized: "Unfortunately, the international community has failed to prevent the genocide and aggression of the Zionist regime, which threatens regional and international peace and security."
Araghchi: Iran's response to the military aggression of the Zionist regime is following the right of legitimate defense
In the continuation of this press conference, Araghchi pointed out the war-mongering anti-human, and anti-peace nature of the Zionist regime in the region. Iran's determination to comprehensively strengthen relations with Pakistan
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have historical, cultural, religious, and civilizational relations and stated: We reiterate our commitment to strengthen friendly and fraternal ties through comprehensive development of relations in all fields, including economic.
