A new 'Nowruz global stamp' was unveiled on Thursday as part of International Nowruz ceremony in Milad Tower in Tehran.

Iran Press/Iran news: 'Nowruz global stamp' was unveiled on Thursday at a special ceremony attended by Head of the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization, Ali Asghar Mounesan, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Minister of Science Mansour Gholami, and a number of ambassadors from countries which celebrate Nowruz in some way. Nowruz, of course, is the Iranian new year.

Speaking to the gathering, Ali Asghar Mounesan said: "As we have recorded the Nowruz with the companionship of 12 countries in the world, we have also shared other rituals like Yalda, to encourage other countries to join us."

Mounesan added: "Our belief is that nothing more than common rituals, common beliefs, can guarantee peace and friendship among nations and invite the world to dialogue".

Mounesan called upon all countries celebrating Nowruz to cooperate with each other, in order to boost tourism and promote Nowruz even further. 208/211/103
