New Delhi (IP) - India's Lok Sabha elections, the largest democratic exercise in the world, are currently in progress and will continue until June 1, 2024.

Iran PressAsia: The sixth phase of the elections was held on Saturday in New Delhi, the nation's capital, with a significant voter turnout. The long queues of people waiting to cast their ballots demonstrate the significance of these elections, which pit the National Democratic Alliance led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi against the Inclusive National Development Alliance of India, a coalition of 26 parties.

Nearly one billion eligible voters are expected to participate in the elections until the final phase on June 1. The elections are a testament to India's vibrant democracy and the commitment of its citizens to exercise their right to vote.
