Tehran (IP) - The International Atomic Energy Agency technical team headed by the agency's Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Safeguards, Massimo Aparo, left Tehran for Vienna after holding talks with Iranian officials.

Iran PressIran news: Arrived in Tehran on Sunday, Massimo Aparo held a meeting with an Iranian nuclear delegation headed by the Spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Behrouz Kamalvandi.

The IAEA delegation also held a meeting with the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Reza Najafi, who is also the Director General of Disarmament and International Security at the Foreign Ministry.

Aparo also met the AEOI head, Mohammad Eslami.

The two sides mulled over safeguards issues, future cooperation, and joint plans.
