Iran Press/ Middle East: According to Iran Press, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah added: "Among the manifestations of Husseini rituals, we can mention sadness and sorrow, Husseini gatherings, walking to making pilgrimage to Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (A.S) and feeding people, and the purpose of these rituals is to keep Imam Hussein's ideal alive for many generations.
He further explained: "Recently, Hosseini's rituals have been very prosperous, especially since 1979 (1357), that is the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran."
The General Secretary of Hezbollah of Lebanon added: "This process was slow from 1922 to 1979, and with the victory of the Islamic Revolution, this line changed and became upward, and with the blessing of the Islamic Revolution, Hosseini's assemblies and rituals, made significant progress."
Nasrallah further pointed to the increase in attendance at Imam Hossein's mourning gatherings in southern Dahieh, especially in recent years, and said: "In the last three years, the number of attendees at Ashura processions has clearly been increasing, so that it is not a thousand or two thousand people, but hundreds of thousands of people.
He added: "It is expected that the number of attendees at Ashurai gatherings will increase in the upcoming nights, and this is normal. In addition to the moral dimension, this presence also has a jihad-oriented political message for all those who count on our weakness."
The Secretary General of Hezbollah added that one of the phenomena that has grown in the past few years is the phenomenon of feeding and entertaining mourners, which is something new despite the difficult economic conditions in Lebanon.
Nasrallah also said about raising children: "Children have many questions at home that parents must answer, clarify and explain to them, and they will ask questions about this in the Day of Judgment."
Regarding the deteriorating situation of families in America, he added: "In America, as the mayor of Los Angeles said, there are 50,000 homeless families on the streets of the city."
"In the war of awareness, it is not necessary to be satisfied with defense, but we should, for example, move toward attack. If we are asked about the value of women in Islam, we ask about the role of women in the West and how to present it," he added.
