Iran Press/ Middle East: Sheikh Naim Qassem was addressing a mourning ceremony that marked the anniversary of the Resistance martyr leader Hajj Hatem Hamadeh on Monday.
Sheikh Qassem indicated that Hezbollah was committed to the presidential elections on constitutional time.
He added that backing a provocative candidate shakes the national aspect of this constitutional entitlement, noting that the new president must work for the sake of all the Lebanese.
Sheikh Qassem affirmed that the new president must also consecrate the golden formula Army-People Resistance which protects the nation and its resources as well as its dignity and independence.
The upcoming parliamentary session aimed at electing a new president will be on Thursday, October 20.
