The leader of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Shah Cheraq Holy shrine in Shiraz and expressed his condolences to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as well as to the government and nation of Iran.

Iran Press/Middle East: Sayyid Amar al-Hakim said in a statement late on Sunday, "We denounce and condemn the criminal act carried out by a terrorist group that targeted the shrine of Sayyid Ahmed bin Imam Musa bin Jaafar (peace be upon them) in the Iranian city of Shiraz, which led to the death and injury of a number of pilgrims."

"As we extend our sincere condolences and sympathy to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, the Iranian Muslim people, the Iranian government, and the families of the martyrs and the wounded. We ask God Almighty to have mercy on the martyrs, dwell them in his wide paradise, and inspire their families with patience and solace, and heal the wounded. We renew our call to the international community to work together to dry up the sources of terrorism and limit its destructive effects on the security and stability of peoples," said the statement.

Furthermore, Hakim called upon the international community, particularly countries affected by terrorism, to unite and collaborate in order to eradicate terrorism at its roots and minimize its destructive impact on global security and stability.
