US imposes cruelest sanctions against Iranian people

Kazem Gharibabadi, Secretary of Iran's High Council for Human Rights, pointed out that Iran has 25,000 victims of terrorism and added that this is even though the American regime has imposed the cruelest sanctions against the Iranian people.

Gharibabadi also referred to the report of Ms. Alena Douhan, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Islamic Republic of Iran, and said that Douhan has a vital sentence that she also expressed in her report and press conference, which is that "Sanctions have affected all dimensions of human rights of Iranian people."

At a press conference held at Iran's National Library on May 18, 2022, Alena Douhan underlined that the complex set of unilateral sanctions against Iran, coupled with secondary sanctions against third parties, over compliance and zero-risking policies by businesses and financial institutions, exacerbate existing humanitarian and economic challenges and negatively affect the lives of the people, in particular the most vulnerable.

The Swedish court sentenced Nouri to life imprisonment on July 14, based on the accusations of the terrorist outfit the MKO.
