Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran's President entered Khuzestan, southwest of the country, today, Friday, to open Ghadir Water Project in the province.
Delivering a speech at the opening ceremony of the Ghadir water project, Ebrahim Raisi said it was a matter of pride that the whole process of the project, from design, implementation, and equipment, was indigenous.
Highlighting that the project took 10 months to be operationalized, Raisi stressed that there were spectacular capacities in the country along with diligent managers and human resources.
He said that the operationalization of the project in a short time elevated the expectations of the people from the administration, calling on the contractors in other utility fields to operationalize the projects.

As the province is a passage of the Iranian pilgrims to take part in Arbaeen March, he said the project could provide the pilgrims with water services.
The President pointed to the human resource employed in carrying out the project and stated that the people could clearly see that all armed forces contributed to finishing the project from the beginning point of it.
The implementation of the Ghadir project removed the problem of providing 26 towns and 1600 villages in the province with healthy drinking water.
The operational phase of the project was initiated last fall after Ebrahim Raisi took office as the President of Iran.
