Iran Press/ Iran news: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was meeting with Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Isa Tabatabaei, the representative of Imam Khomeini (RA) and Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Lebanon, and the accompanying delegation here in Tehran.
Hojjat al-Islam Tabatabaei was honored on Friday at the 8th International Meeting of Mujahideen Abroad.
Amir-Abdollahian described Tabatabaei's efforts in line with the activities of Imam Mousa Sadr.
"Seyyed Isa Tabatabaei's distinguished feature is his support and contribution to the promotion of the position of the resistance in Lebanon and the region and the Islamic world," said the Iranian foreign minister.
For his part, Tabatabaei appreciated the officials of the 8th International Meeting of Mujahideen Abroad. He called himself a small soldier of the Imams of the Revolution and a servant of the people of Iran, Lebanon, and Palestine.
"It is an honor to serve the resistance and Hezbollah," he stated.
Isa Tabatabaei was born in Najaf, Iraq. He visited Iran as a teenager and continued his theological studies in Damghan and Qom seminaries. He visited Lebanon during the despotic reign of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.
