Flights to Turkey resumes soon

Tehran (IP)- Spokesman of Civil Aviation Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran (CAOIRI) said that after Turkey's request for resumption of flights between Iran and Turkey, licenses for domestic airlines were gradually being issued and Turkish flights would resume soon.

Iran PressIran News: Reza Jafarzadeh, CAOIRI's spokesman, said on Saturday that reopening of foreign flights is in line with the restrictions that countries create based on their health status, and future decisions will be made based on negotiations results between the two countries.

Emphasizing that the opening of air borders for foreign flights is in compliance with health protocols, he said: "The air border between Iran and Turkey will be opened soon."

According to Jafarzadeh, at the same time with the lifting of restrictions on foreign flights, there is a high level of caution for their opening, and the licenses will be issued in coordination with the Ministry of Health and maintaining health protocols.

In this regard, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said recently: "Due to the gradual reopening of the country's borders after special care during the Coronavirus period and the return of exports and imports, we hope that the balance will return to the foreign exchange market as soon as possible."
