The social network "Facebook" on Tuesday deleted the message of US President "Donald Trump" in which he described the flu virus as more deadly than the Coronavirus.

Iran PressAmerica: Andy Stone, a spokesman for Facebook, said in a statement that Trump's actions violated the company's rules and provided false information about the Coronavirus.

Trump compared the corona to the flu in a message posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday, saying that the coronavirus is not as deadly as the flu.

The same message was posted on Trump's Twitter page. Twitter also labeled it as "warning" and said that the message violated the rules of this social network due to the publication of incorrect information about Coronavirus.

Twitter was quick to shut down the misinformation, saying: “The Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19.

The messages came hours after Trump was released from Walter Reed Military Hospital in Washington.

Donald Trump was admitted to Walter Reed Hospital on Friday with a positive COVID-19 test. He was released from the hospital on Monday and returned to the White House.

The United States currently tops the world in both the number of people infected with the coronavirus and the number of deaths caused by the virus.

The United States, which began testing for coronavirus much later than other countries, is currently short of diagnostic kits and medical equipment due to a large number of patients.

The US government, and in particular President Donald Trump, has been widely criticized for its irresponsibility in spreading the Coronavirus in the United States.
