Samarra (IP) - Iran Press News Agency footage shows Iranians and other Shia pilgrims in the holy shrines of Imam Ali al-Naqi and his son, Imam Hasan al-Askari in Samarra.

The Iraqi city of Samarra is the site of two major Shi'ite shrines. Consecrated in 852, the Golden Mosque is said to hold the remains of two Shi'ite imams: Imam Ali al-Naqi and his son, Imam Hasan al-Askari. 

Arbaeen pilgrims of different nationalities are present on the 80-kilometer route from Najaf to Karbala, and despite the differences in race, and ethnicity, they all walk on the same path.
