Iran Press/ Europe: Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the United Nations chief, Antonio Guterres, met in Ukraine with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday in a high-powered bid to ratchet down a war raging for nearly six months.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he would follow up with Russian President Vladimir Putin, given that most of the matters discussed would require the Kremlin's agreement.
In addition, Erdogan emphasized that 98 trucks of humanitarian aid were sent from Turkiye to Ukraine, and about 325,000 Ukrainians were accepted for temporary stay in the country.
