The OIC meeting participants stress on ending the Zionist occupation

The participants in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting emphasised that the peace and security in the region will not be achieved without an end to the Zionist occupation of the Palestinian territories.

Iran Press/ Middle East: The participants in the OIC meeting stressed on the need to confront the recent remarks of the Zionist regime's prime minister, regarding the annexation of parts of the occupied West Bank to the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Iran Press, the OIC also called for urgent action of the UN Security Council, international courts and other international bodies to confront the expansionist and colonialist policies of the Zionist regime.

The Saudi-hosted OIC summit once again reaffirmed the centrality of the cause of Palestine and the occupied city of al-Quds.

Members of the OIC also called Netanyahu's promise to annex parts of the West Bank as a dangerous and blatant violation of the historical and legal rights of the Palestinian people and a clear violation of UN laws and resolutions.

The OIC called on all member nations to focus on the issue of Palestine and violation of Palestinian people's rights by the Zionist regime.
