Israel airstrikes hit Hamas positions in Gaza

Palestinian sources have confirmed that Israeli fighter jets have targeted some camps belonging to the Islamic resistance group Hamas in the Gaza strip.

Iran Press/ Middle East: The Israeli airstrikes targeted some Hamas positions in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

According to Iran Press, sound of several explosions was heard in the attack, but no casualties have been reported yet.

The Zionist regime has claimed the attack was in response to the rockets launched from Gaza on Sunday evening.

The increase in Israeli attacks comes as the Israeli regime is preparing for elections. Most Israeli candidates are former high-ranking military officials who have been issuing campaign promises to Israeli voters to wage wars on the Gaza Strip and destroy Palestinian resistance groups.

Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, said it would not allow the Israeli regime to use the enclave as a ground to settle its accounts.
