Leader of Hamas in Gaza strip, Yahya Sinwar

The leader of Hamas resistance movement in the Gaza Strip has said if Zionists wanted to engage in a war with the Palestinian resistance movement, his fellow fighters will defeat Israel in such a war.

Iran Press/Middle East: According to the Shehab News Agency, Yahya Sinwar warned Tel Aviv on Tuesday that Hamas will shower Zionist cities with hundreds of missiles in one go if Israel launched a military campaign against Gaza.

"If the Israeli occupation crosses into the Gaza strip, we shall beat that defeated army," He insisted.

The top official of the Hamas resistance movement in the Gaza Strip went on to add that: “If a war occurs, we will strike on the occupation army and break its power once and forever. We are not joking.”

He also praised Hani Abu Salah, a Palestinian man who was killed in the southern Gaza strip on August 1 in an exchange of fire with Israeli troops, wounding three of them. 101/211/218
