Iran Press/ Middle East: Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis at a press conference on Sunday announced that there is enough information, images and documents on who was demolishing and burning Al-Hashd Al-Sha'abi and other institutions, including the Iranian Consulate.
He added that the US consulate has been pursuing a war between Shiite parties through the recent riots, but I emphasize that there will be no conflict between Shiite parties or other Iraqi sects, and this US goal will not be achieved.
Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis also clarified that the events in Basra were rooted in political issues, and in particular the change of government and the formation of a new government, and they wanted to scare people and make war between parties, but I say to the United States that we will never enter a civil war. But the guilty parties must be held accountable and we know the US consulate is behind these events.

The deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Committee Said the United States has been involved in such interference, and the events of recent years in Egypt have shown other missions that US embassies and consulates are following.
In response to a question about the charges on the organization participating in political activities, al-Muhandis said: "we have announced it from the beginning that we have never entered political activity, and are not going to do so, but those who are behind these charges, made the electoral list of our forces themselves and today are accusing us.
Iraqi commander in response to another question about the hints of American pressure to preserve Haidar al-Ebadi as Iraq prime minister said: " Bert McGovern, Trump's special envoy for Iraq and Saudi ambassador to Iraq, are planning to go to Iraqi politicians' home and threaten them. It shows that there are somethings, but we hope that they will let Iraq's internal affairs go on its true direction.
Regarding the controversial case of the US military presence in Iraq, al-Muhandis said: "the government does not provide correct statistics; our survey shows the presence of six to eight thousand US military personnel in the country. They have various equipment and several exclusive airports, including in Baghdad and Ein al-Assad. We have this information and we have provided them to the government and the army.
