Tehran (IP) - Deputy Minister of Health, Qassem Janbabaei noted that Screening is the best possible way to diagnose the people with COVID-19.

Iran Press/Iran News: In response to IP's question via videoconferencing on Tuesday, the official stated, "Screening is the best possible way to diagnose COVID-19 patients and contain Coronavirus. Iran has taken perfect steps to contain and control the disease through "social distancing", shutting-down schools and universities, and applying suggested medical methods and medicines to get the final result."

Janbabaei also noted that WHO has urged other countries to use and take into account Islamic Republic of Iran's significant experiences and said most of the Iranian doctors are helping through their medical expertise even not related to COVID-19 and infection diseases.

Health Ministry official elsewhere in his remark said two weeks before the disease outbreak in Iran, necessary measures have been envisaged, upon which 40,000 hospital beds were prepared, while some countries and Europe who opted their sick ones based on their conditions and if the patients were in critical conditions, hospitals rejected them.

He said: Iran allocated all its hospitals to infected patients. If Iran has less death toll in comparison to others, it is all due to its perfect medical healthcare protocols and dedicated staff.

"Some countries will face the peak because they denied the disease spread in their country like the US, Spain and the UK. But in Iran, the trend and the spread is stable and even is falling down, and we must take the hygienic rules under consideration.", the official concluded.
