Tehran (IP) - Iranian Health Ministry's spokesman has said that at least 10,457 COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from the hospitals in the country.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking in his daily news conference on Thursday, the Health Ministry's spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour released the latest data on the Coronavirus infections for the past 24 hours.

"2,389 newly-confirmed cases and 157 more people have been died because of the novel Coronavirus during the past 24 hours," Jahanpour said in the daily press conference that was held at the Health Ministry.

He went on to say that 10,457 people have recovered and discharged from the hospitals since the outbreak of the Coronavirus in Iran.

Given the latest figures of the Health Ministry, the total number of people diagnosed with the Coronavirus has reached 29,406  people, out of whom 2,234  people died. 

According to a spokesman for the Ministry of Health 2,746, Corona patients are in critical condition.

"As of this morning, more than 50,821000 people have participated in Corona Screening Plan," Jahanpour said. 104/207
