Iran Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism, Ali Asghar Mounesan

Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism announced the approval of the Comprehensive Tourism Document.

Iran Press/Iran News: Ali Asghar Mounesan, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press, said on Wednesday that the country's national tourism document was a legal order that had not been implemented for several years.

He also went on to say that there was no solid approved document to base the future of tourism. Another important point is that tourism is not just limited to the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism and does not fit into a ministry. For example, transportation is a very important part of tourism in which another ministry is in charge.

He added that therefore, the tasks of the different organizations must be specified and all converged to what is targeted for the tourism industry.

Many works have been done at the ministry and discussed in various sub-committees of the government and will soon be raised in the government.', Mounesan stated.
