Rouhani: Facing difficulties makes Iran Stronger
Tehran (IP) - Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said great opportunities can be found in difficult conditions.
Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking in today's cabinet session, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said, "We are all owners of one country and one system, and have common interests. We live in a country where there are different lifestyles. We have to respect people's tastes and thoughts. We are all Iranians and the country is for all of us. The lives of every Iranian are the lives of us all."
Iran's President expressed his deep sorrow and condolences over the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, victims of Kerman and Ukrainian plane crash, adding that, "It is true that the conditions are difficult and unfortunate, but there are possibilities for great opportunities in difficult conditions. We must try to create an opportunity for the benefit of the country and the national interest from all those sad events."
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani referred to the recent heartbreaking incidents happened in the country, adding, "Almost all three events were unexpected for our society and our country. We knew the US was very criminal, but we didn't think the US would target the guest of another country, especially a guest who was one of the greatest commanders in the fight against terrorism. This style was perhaps unexpected for us, and they have martyred General Soleimani."
He further added, "Of course, Martyr Soleimani is always a symbol of courage and martyrdom. He obviously chose the path of martyrdom."
"It was unexpected for us to see that a plane full of different nationalities especially our dear Iranians would be targeted by a missile, and we did not think such a mistake would ever happen. Of course, those who made mistakes are the ones who have always strived for national security. Unfortunately, this mistake happened in the country's security environment and was not for any other purpose," Rouhani added.
