Croatia's Ambassador to Iran Drago Stambuk said that cultural ties can lead peoples to better mutual understanding so that they behave in a more appropriate way with each other.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Stambuk who attended the unveiling ceremony of the single-sculpture of Achaemenid Guard on Tuesday stressed the importance of art and culture for nations, saying "they are of God's gifts, not something imposed but expressed in a beautiful and gentle way."

He referred to the exhibition of a Croatian artist whose works were inspired by Persian art, describing the inspiration as a way to bring peoples together.

The Iranian historical single-sculpture of Achaemenid Soldier seized by the US was put on display for public after 80 years.

Following the measures taken by the Presidential Legal Service Center, the Foreign Ministry, and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism, the historic object returned to Iran on the US Attorney Office's decision.
