IRGC to accelerate combating deprivation
Inaugurating more than 2000 new different construction projects in Tehran province, IRGC has accelerated its endeavor to combat deprivation and to service needy people around the country, including suburbs of capital Tehran.
Iran Press/Iran News: The chief commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami has attended the inauguration ceremony of more than 2000 new development and deprivation elimination projects in Tehran Province.
According to the Iran Press report, the construction and deprivation eliminating projects of the Seyyed al-Shohada Army of the IRGC of the Tehran Province were inaugurated with the presence of the top Commander the IRGC.
These projects include building and repairing homes for the needy, building and repairing schools, building and repairing mosques, building a home, building and equipping health centers, building and equipping a gym, constructing an agricultural water pool, agricultural water transmission line, dredging underground water channels (Qanat), construction of agricultural water wells and memorials to anonymous martyrs and other sanitary and bathing projects.
The commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps also inaugurated and visited a special unit for the deprived in the Pardis city. A gym, eight workshops, a charity center, a health center in the Golestan town of Rey were inaugurated in the separate ceremony as well.
Salami also kicked off the second phase the two years plan to distribute the 313 dowries of 2000 dowry committed by the organization to help needy couples.
