Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press News agency, Iran's member of the Expediency Discernment Council who also chairs Islamic Coalition Party, Mostafa Mirsalim said that an effective parliament is the one chosen by people, that is, it must have been chosen by the majority of the people who have voted in the elections.
Iran's top parliamentarian in Expediency Discernment Council went on to highlight that the effective parliament should also serve as the crystallization of the Majority's needs. Emphasizing the independence of Parliament from the Executive power.
Mirsalim added that the parliament should also function as an independent body so that it can function well at the time of superintendence either for selecting the people in charge or on lawmaking and supervising law implementation process.
