Iran welcomes expansion of trade ties with neighboring countries
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has supported increasing trade and economic ties with neighboring countries.
Iran Press/Iran news: He made the remarks in a press conference on Wednesday in Tabriz following a one-day visit to the northeast province of East Azarbaijan's development projects during which he stressed the province's potential in enhancing its ties with the neighboring countries.
He praised the people of Tabriz for their business activities and said the trade agreement reached with Eurasian Economic Union is an opportunity which exempts 800 export goods from customs tariffs.
Rouhani referred to his last visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan and said Iranian industrialists will launch car-making, pharmaceutical and power plants as well as dam projects in the neighboring country.
He also welcomed the expansion of ties with Armenia and Turkey and said conditions are facilitated for enhanced political and trade relations with the neighboring countries.
