Iran Press/Iran News: Commenting further Es'haq Jahangiri said: "If it is proven that the Iranian people have been hurt and the nation has been harmed as a result of the involvement of neighbouring countries in recent rioting, we will certainly react strongly to that, and make them regret their actions."
Turning to US actions, Jahangiri said: "After US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) the Americans waged a media propaganda campaign saying the Iranians won't celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution," Iran Press reported.
"The Americans wanted to ruin Iran's economy through the slapping of sanctions. But their plan failed. They now seem to have changed tact and they want to interfere in Iran's internal affairs and encourage rioting in Iran," he added.
Jahangiri also warned the enemies by saying: "Everyone must respect Iran and act towards Iran with respect. If they try to meddle in Iran's internal affairs and harm the Iranian people, we will give a decisive response and make them regret their actions."
Commenting on the economy the first vice president said: "Prices of essential items are stable and if anything the prices are coming down, but the cost of some services has actually increased in recent months. The oversight committee monitoring and controlling the price of commodities in the market must not take its eye off the price of services. The committee must establish why prices in the service sector have risen, and do everything it can to reverse this trend." 101/211
