Tehran's interim Friday Prayers Leader said that Iranians have closed Iran-US negotiation doors with a demonstration on 4th November.

Iran Press/Iran News: Tehran's interim Friday Prayers Leader Kazem Seddiqi said during the sermons that the presence of the people in the 13 Aban march (the date of the seizure of the US embassy to Tehran on Nov. 4, 1979), was significant, adding: "The people's presence was a sign of the deep awareness of our people to the dangers of America to humanity, peace, and security."

"On November 4, our people closed the door of negotiation with the US forever," he stressed.

US cannot be trusted

Seddiqi said that the Iranians have been betrayed by the US for a long time, adding: "Despite the confidence of Mohammad Mosaddegh in the US, Americans betrayed him and overthrew his government."

"Today, our officials must learn lessons when they see such a case. Some people think that if we don't say 'Down with the US' the US would leave us alone. But Mosaddegh's case showed the opposite and we know the US well," the cleric added.

Seddiqi noted that the US has done whatever it could to overthrow the Islamic Republic and harm the interests of the country since the beginning of the revolution, in 1979.

US imposed more sanctions after the Nuclear Deal

"Some had said that with the signing of the nuclear agreement, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) all of the sanctions will be lifted but we saw that the US imposed more sanctions on Iran before and after its presidential elections," he continued.

Iran's stance towards Financial Action Task Force (FATF)

"It is said that the bills related to the international conventions against money laundering and terrorism, demanded by international watchdog, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) was approved in a session of the heads of the country's three branches of power and some say that it had Supreme Leader's green light which is completely untrue," he added.

Senior Iranian officials have already emphasized that it is impossible to negotiate under the pressure of sanctions and the US' economic terrorism must stop before talking about any negotiations.
