Iran Press/ Iran news: The top commander of the Iranian Army, Major General Abdol-Rahim Mousavi, was the keynote speaker in the 4 November (13 Aban) rallies and demonstrations in Tehran on Monday.
He pointedly said: "The US hostility towards Islamic Iran is deep-rooted. America's hostility towards Iran is not because of the nuclear issue, or our missile capabilities, or because of human rights. Their dispute with us is strategic and not tactical and is because of many things, such as our religion, our Islamic values, our independence, our refusal to bow to US pressure, our (Islamic) ideals, and our religious beliefs."
Commenting on the 4 November commemoration and rallies, Major General Mousavi said the message of these communities to the enemy is that the Iranian people will strongly continue the Islamic revolution path.
He added the blessings of Iran's Islamic Revolution have affected the entire region, awakening the Muslim masses, the poor and downtrodden who have been given hope and inspiration by Islamic Iran.
Pointing to the anniversary gathering across the country, Major General Mousavi said: "The many blessings of the Islamic revolution include safety and security which we all enjoy today in Islamic Iran. The progress we have achieved in science and technology, and also our independence, is due to the Islamic Revolution."
Commenting further on the United States, the top commander of the Iranian Army said: "The fate awaiting the United States is the fate of the Egyptian Pharaohs and the fate of tyrants throughout the ages. God willing, the evil US empire will disintegrate and collapse in the near future."
The top commander of the Iranian Army continued to say: "Some Western scholars have predicted the collapse of the United States by presenting evidence and a comparison of 20 years ago with 10 years ago and today what is happening in the political, economic and military fields confirms this prediction,"
Major General Mousavi concluded, "This is the definite promise that the truth will prevail and the god's righteous servant will rule over the earth."
