Hamedan (IP) - A festival and exhibition of Iranian tribes is underway in the western Iranian city of Hamedan with the aim of promoting the country's traditional costumes, foods, and souvenirs.

Iran Press/Iran News: In the exhibition which started on 30 October, Iranian tribes form provinces of Hamdan, Kermanshah, Qazvin, East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Yazd, North Khorasan, and various other provinces took part, displaying their local foods and perform their local music for the general public.

Also with 200 booths, the expo presents souvenirs produced by tribes from different provinces of Iran.

The festival and exhibition of Iranian tribes, at Hamedan's International Fairground, will continue until 4 November 2019, and has been widely welcomed by the general public.
