Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking late on Saturday in a meeting with one of the veterans of the eight-year-imposed-war on Iran (1980-1988) by the former Ba'athist regime in Baghdad, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said that the war veterans have always played a major role in Iranian nation’s victories against enemies, especially during those 8 years in the 1980s.
Referring to enemies’ big conspiracy against Iranians, Rouhani said: "Fortunately, the Iranian people have resisted well against the plots of the enemies."
The Iranian President said: "The US administration has unilaterally pulled out of the nuclear deal and is pressuring Iranians by imposing sanctions."
"Zionists, Saudi leaders and hardliners in the United States are after pressuring the Iranian nation," President Rouhani said, adding that there is no way but resistance in this situation.
