Iran Press/Iran news: Major General Salami made the remarks at the inauguration ceremony of 2,533 deprivation eradication plans in Sistan and Baluchistan province, southeastern Iran.
He said, "The Islamic Revolution supports the oppressed all over the world, and the arrogant enemies oppose our revolution and fight with us even in the land of the oppressed."
Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps reiterated, "We fight against the enemy with the support of the people and under the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and at the same time we continue to reconstruct our country."
"We do not only think of establishing security but according to the Leader, our existential philosophy is to serve the people and to strive to develop the country and the dignity of the nation," He added.
"Our enemies are cruel, but our children and brothers are martyred in order to secure and protect us from these ruthless enmities, and we will not allow any alien to scowl or glower at our land," Major General Salami said.
He called the people the owners and rulers of the IRGC, saying, "We do need the support of the people to confront our enemies, and we stand against those who slavishly repeat the words or opinions of the enemy and do not want the hearts of our peoples to have peace of mind."
The general added, "In a time when the 'World of Riches and Tyranny' has boycotted Islamic Iran, the importance of reconstruction and economic jihad is no less than fighting the enemy, and we will build Islamic Iran by divine, authoritative and glorious grace."
