Iran’s ambassador to Belarus Saeed Yari discussed the repatriation of Iranian prisoners with the Belarusian Attorney General in a telephone conversation.

Iran PressEurope: Iran’s ambassador to Belarus Saeed Yari in a telephone conversation with Alexander Kanyuk, the Belarusian Attorney General, asked him to take the necessary measures to transfer Iranian prisoners to their country, given the outbreak of coronavirus and the possible risks for their health.

Expressing confidence in the health condition of the Iranian prisoners, the Belarusian Attorney General said that he would issue the necessary orders to carry out the relevant judicial process and repatriate the Iranian prisoners.

It is worth noting that currently, two Iranians are serving their sentences in Belarusian prisons.
