Iranian Ambassador to Spain, Hassan Ghashghavi

Iran's ambassador to Spain expressed his deep regret that the US considers itself to be the world's policeman, said Washington is seeking to turn Iran's nuclear deal into a unilateral agreement.

Iran PressEurope: Hassan Ghashghavi said in a press conference on Wednesday that the European Union (EU) has always spoken of Iran's implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and that no word on its implementation by the other signatories of  Iran's nuclear deal.

He added that the Islamic Republic of Iran is obliged to fully implement the JCPOA if the other signatories of the agreement fulfill their obligations. 

Iran's ambassador to Spain referred to the assassination of late Quds Force Commander Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani, reiterating that the act of terrorism by United States created an atmosphere of vengeance by the Iranian people.

Hassan Ghashghavi expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the UIA Flight 752 air tragedy, underlining that if the atmosphere of the war did not arise after the assassination of top martyred General Soleimani, the Ukrainian passenger plane would never have crashed.
