Iran's Petroleum Minister arrived in Vienna of Austria on Thursday morning to attend the 170th summit of the Petroleum Exporting Organization's (OPEC) countries.

Iran Press/Europe: In his trip to Austria, Bijan Namdar Zanganeh is scheduled to hold a separate meeting with the Secretary-general of OPEC Mohammad Barkindo and a number of the energy and oil ministers of the member states in the summit.

Both OPEC member states and non-member states which earlier had agreed on the reducing daily oil production up to 1,200,000 barrel until March 2020, which is 1.2 percent of the global demand, will make a decision on the increase or decrease of oil production on Thursday and Friday. 

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) consists of 12 countries of   Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Venezuela, Qatar, Libya, United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Nigeria, Angola, and Ecuador.104/205
