An exhibition of Iranian industries, products, and commercial opportunities opened in Tashkent, the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on Wednesday.

Iran Press/Asia: Exhibition of products of more than forty Iranian companies is held on the sidelines of the 13th meeting of the Iran-Uzbekistan Joint Economic Commission.

َAccording to Iran Press, in the two-day exhibition, more than forty Iranian companies showcase their latest products and achievements. Companies active in  Petrochemicals, steel, textile, food, cosmetic industries displayed their products at the exhibition.

In the opening ceremony Hamid Nayerabadi, Iran's ambassador to Tashkent, deputy minister of industry, mine, and trade and deputy head for development of the export market of the 'Trade Promotion Organizations', Hamid Zadboom, and deputy minister of industry, mine, and trade Bahman Hosseinzadeh and officials from the Ministry of Investment and Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

The speakers emphasized using the two countries' considerably resources and capacities and the development of comprehensive relations between Tehran and Tashkent.   212/211/101
