Iranian ambassador to Tbilisi and Georgia National Security Service chief stressed the need to expand bilateral cooperation.

Iran Press/Asia: During a meeting between Iranian ambassador to Tbilisi Javad Ghavam Shahidi and Georgia National Security Service chief Grigol Liluashvili, the two sides discussed the need to expand Tehran-Tbilisi cooperation by discussing various issues related to the problems of the two countries' people, Iran Press reported.

Iranian Ambassador to Tbilisi referred to the challenges in the region and the necessity of preventing various crimes, including extremism, terrorism, and drug trafficking, calling for the signing of security and police cooperation agreement between the two sides in the near future.

Georgia's National Security Service chief also stressed the need to safeguard the rights of other countries.
