Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister had a meeting with his Russian counterpart, discussing bilateral ties and the ways to expand cooperation in different fields, including trade, economy, and culture.
Iran Press/Asia: During the meeting on Saturday in Moscow, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and his Russian counterpart Igor Morgulov talked about the development of Russian-Iranian relations, including trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The two officials also discussed the latest regional and international developments and issues.
The talks were held on the sidelines of the 2019 Moscow Nonproliferation Conference.
The 2019 Moscow Nonproliferation Conference titled 'Nuclear Energy, Disarmament and Nonproliferation' began on Friday with the participation of ministers and officials from 40 countries as well as several international bodies including International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), and United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA).
