Yazd (IP) - If you are interested in a journey to visit a desert city, no doubt Yazd historical city, in central Iran, can be an option, a little paradise amid the desert.

Iran PressIran news: You can visit Dowlatabad Garden; a historical edifice that enjoys an old Qanat and is globally famous because of the tallest windcatcher. Yet Dowlatabad is among 9 Iranian gardens that have been globally registered with original Iranian architecture. 

At the entertaining complex, you can wear traditional Yazdi clothes, take a souvenir photo, and drink original Yazdi qottab and baklava in the traditional café of the garden.

The head of the Yazd's Khans in the Zandiya Dynasty Mohammad-Taghi Khan Bafghi established the garden with a construction area of 70,000 square meters. 

The Kanat of the garden is more than 200 years old, the water of which originates from the Mehriz mountains in Yazd and reaches the current location of Dowlatabad Garden after traveling 65 kilometers.

It enjoys an octagon edifice that is devoted to receiving the guests coming in summer, which itself is an Iranian architectural masterpiece. In this part you can see the world's tallest windcatcher, 33.8 meters. 

Come to Yazd's Dowlatabad Garden and enjoy the pleasant zephyr that will catch your face at night, which comes out of the air and water flow under the windcatcher.
