Iran Press/Iran News: Abdul-Reza Rahmani-Fazli, Iran's Interior Minister, while inviting Iraq's Interior Minister, Farhoud Moshir Ghanemi to Iran, said: "In 2018, we prepared a security memorandum with Iraq, which I hope will be signed during your visit to Iran."
Rahmani- Fazli added: "Fighting terrorism, organized crime and arms and drug trafficking, as well as cooperation between the police of the two countries and border cooperation, are among the areas where we can define the level of joint activities."
Inviting his Iraqi counterpart to approve the activation of border markets more than before, Iranian Interior Minister said: "In this way, we can strengthen economic and trade exchanges while observing health protocols."
In this telephone conversation, Iraqi Interior Minister thanked Rahmani- Fazli for his contacts and emphasized on the development of cooperation between the two countries in security, health, politics, economy and other issues, and said: "We are trying to develop cooperation in all fields because it is in the interest of both countries and two nations."
Referring to the significant number of people with coronavirus and emphasizing that we must adapt to it, Farhoud Moshir Al-Ghanemi said that we have opened a number of borders and we hope that the opening of the borders will continue."
